Jin Pliers are are a multi use tool, as both wire pliers and jining tools. Jin Pliers are great for use with bonsai wire either for applying or removing wire from trunks and branches. Jin pliers can also be used to create an aging or deadwood effect on a bonsai tree by stripping the barkof the tree to create a Jin or Shari(dead branches and driftwood).
+ This is a very specific tool designed for removing bark and working with deadwood (Jin/ Shari) on your bonsai in order to create natural looking aging on Bonsai trees.
When creating Jin/ Shari, you can use them to crush the cambium, which then allows you to just peel/ strip the bark and wood away and leaving a nice clean branch.
This will save lots of time rather than trying to use a knife
+ These versatile tools can also be a great help when wiring treesand tying them into pots.
They can be used to bend wire around branches, bend small pieces of wire to hold screening mesh in place, twist wire to secure bonsai trees in their pots
Some people also use their Jin pliers to remove wire.
The Jin Pliers are made to allow the efficient application of wire to the branches of your bonsai tree. The narrow grip allows for easy twisting with one hand and also allows you to get into those hard to reach areas.
+ Another useful function is using it to bend thick branches. By using two pliers to grab the wire, you can twist and manoeuvre a branch much more easily than with your bare hands.
It should be wiped with a light oil after use to keep them in good condition.
